What we do

Each petal of our logo is a program. Together they carry the repertoire of Latin American composers and the living traditions of our communities.

About ALMA

Founded in 2018 by guitarist Zaira Meneses as the Latin American Music Festival, ALMA became a nonprofit in 2024 to bring university-caliber music and arts education to underserved communities — while keeping Latin American classical, indigenous and folk music on Boston's stages.
